Academic Preparation
BSBRALC students bring a wide array of
strengths and abilities with them when they
enter the law course. In order to maximize the
benefits of this diversity, it is essential that
students develop a common vocabulary of skills
and terminology in key areas before they start
class. The first step is to complete five skill
areas of academic preparation before they start
class. Attention to these areas - Constitution,
Legal Language and Writing, Class participation
skills, Computer skills, and General awareness
knowledge - this allows all students to share the
same skills platform that is essential for a
successful experience at BSBRALC.
If necessary, students who have had little or no
exposure to any of these skill areas are asked
to use additional resources, such as courses or
the intensive on-campus, off the class Program,
to further develop their capabilities.
The education offered at BSBRALC is a
transforming, developmental experience that
stimulates intellectual and personal growth by
building deep, practical knowledge of law and
thus enabling students to take sound judgment.
